Skills for Setting and Achieving Your Employees' Goals

Course Description

This highly interactive workshop will focus on the "how-to's" of applying goal-setting skills to developing organizational, departmental, and personal goals. Although organizational goal setting is emphasized, we will discuss personal goals and action plans for balancing the various aspects of one’s life.

Course Objectives

  • Learn to set goals and make effective plans for achieving them
  • Analyze and package one’s unique set of skills and interests
  • Develop skills in balancing career, family life, and personal development
  • Identify roles in personal and professional support networks that need to be filled or enhanced
  • Distinguish between goals and activities
  • Develop a personal action plan to help set and achieve attainable goals

Training Methodology  

Workbook exercises, role-plays, handouts, lecturettes, group exercises, overhead slides

Learning Time-frame  One 8- hour or two 4- hour sessions
